For about the last week my household has been battling everything from sinus problems to a cold and the result of that is a lack of baking on my part. I have been downing vitamin C and drinking juices for days hoping to avoid my daughters cold. One thing that we both love is smoothies and so these vitamin c filled ones have been a regular too lately!
I love a good smoothie filled with fruit and yogurt or even just fruit and juice. One of the best parts of making this delicious, sweet drink is sharing it with my little one, she can honestly drink a bigger one than myself most days. Vitamin C Fruit Smoothie
Yield 2 servings
- 1 c frozen strawberries
- 1/2 c frozen peaches
- 1/2 banana
- 1 c orange juice (or apple if you prefer)
- Combine all of the ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and serve.
