Ingredients:
1 pie crust, I used store bought
1/2 c pizza sauce
1/3 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 c ham, diced
Directions:
Plug in your pie-maker, to let it preheat while you roll out the dough and slice it with the included cutter. Once the pie-maker is ready, working quickly, add the crust and fill with a spoonful of sauce, ham and cheese, top with more sauce and cheese. Once the pie-maker is filled, close the lid and let it bake for about 8-10 minutes, it will depend on the brand of pie-maker you are using as to exactly how hot/quickly it cooks. Remove the pies carefully, let cool 2-3 minutes and serve.
*Note: Change up the toppings to fit your tastes, you can adjust the amount of sauce to your liking as well; have fun and enjoy!
Yields 4 pizza pies
Have you tried this with the refrigerated pizza crust in a can? I wonder how that would work.
I haven’t, but if you do it would be better to use the thin crust and roll it out a bit to be similar to our crust I would think?
