It’s been a while, since I last baked that is! We were at the grocery store last night and my hubby was looking at the bakery and just couldn’t find any cookies that looked good. So I whipped these together. I hope you’ll like them as much as he did, bake a minute less for chewier, a minute more for crisper cookies, enjoy!
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies…
——————————-
Ingredients:
¾ c Flour
½ tsp Ginger
½ tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Baking Soda
1 stick Butter, Softened
½ c White Sugar
½ c Brown Sugar
1 Egg
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
1-½ c Oats (I used instant, you can use whatever you have on hand)
½ c Raisins
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, spices, salt, and baking soda, then set aside. Beat the sugars with the butter, add in the egg and vanilla and combine well. Next add in the flour mixture, and then the oats and raisins. Bake for 9-10 minutes, depending on the type of cookie you prefer, remove from oven; let the cookies cool on the pan for a minute or two and then transfer to a cooling rack. Then share, or don’t share, it doesn’t matter to me!
