Chocolate Mousse Tarts




Yield 12 servings



  1. Bake the puff pastry shells according to package directions and set aside to cool.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat melt the marshmallow creme, chocolate chips and water until smooth, set aside to cool.
  3. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until incorporated and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  5. Take the tops off the puff pastry shells, fill each shell with 2 Tbs of mousse, top with a cherry and chocolate shavings.
  6. Serve immediately.


Yields 4 cups of mousse, cover tightly and store any leftover mousse in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
